about me
Hey all,
I am Theresa. If you want a brief description of my curriculum vitae, go on reading.
I studied a three year Events Management programme at the “International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef • Bonn” in Germany, which is a partner university of the “Leeds Metropolitan University”, where I am now doing my MSc in Marketing. During the last five years I gained some practical experiences through several placements like at Offspin an event agency in Cologne, ProModa , which is an agency for fashion events and promotion activities and additionally in the city marketing of Koblenz.
Ok, that is enough for now. Concerning this blog, it is part of my studies in the module “PR & New Media” and at the present, I am a raw beginner in blogging yet, but we will see what happens in the future.

I have come to appreciate your blog and all the interesting and fascinating things you mentioned about marketing in practice.
Now, about myself, I am an undergraduate student at Institute of Business Administration In Karachi, Pakistan. I have a course this semester called Principles of Marketing. I feel like a fish out of water, I mean coming from a science and accounting/finance background, this subject is really a whole new world for me. But, at the same time, because we live in a world where none can claim never having being influenced by marketing, I feel as if all this theory I study in the classroom does make sense.
I just wanted to establish a contact with you since you are probably a person who knows what you’re saying about marketing, and I was hoping to kind of learn from you some ways how theory translates into practice in the real world and how what that means for companies and small-businesses. I know I TOTALLY qualify as a stranger and this may be out of your comfort zone but just give it a thought.

Thank you very much for your comment. It’s really great to get some feedback. I can agree that the filed of marketing is huge but it is at least as interesting and fascinating and I am absolutely happy that I found an area to work in, where I am passionate about.
I am actually in the process of applying for some jobs. I will keep you informed and hope you will further enjoy my blog.
